Yew Meng Fong

Yew Meng was Managing Director of HSBC Futures (Singapore) Pte from August 2006 to March 2008. He was responsible for the futures broking subsidiary as the CEO encompassing all aspects of the business.

Yew Meng  spent  one year before joining  HSBC Futures as Company Secretary of The Evolution Group Plc. Yew Meng was responsible for the Group Corporate Secretariat of the holding company which is listed on the main board of the London Stock Exchange.

Prior to joining The Evolution Group, Yew Meng spent 9 years as Managing Director of Deutsche Bank and Deutsche Bank Securities in London and New York respectively. He was responsible for business management, regulatory, accounting, resource allocation, marketing technology and risk operations of futures broking agency business of DBSI.

Prior to that, Yew Meng had spent 6 years as an Executive Director in Goldman Sachs in Tokyo and London.

Yew Meng graduated from London School of Economics with a B. Sc (Econs) degree in 1975. He was admitted to Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales in 1978. He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore.
